I wrote a piece of commercial software a few years back. The 'Vacation Guide' and it sold in CompUSA (wrote at home in my spare time).

To make a long story short. I made it y2k compliant and even included a calendar control I wrote that will work out as far as 2300. Getting all the leap years / stuff correct.

I didn't have to do that, but I figured what the heck. The sad thing is MSft bought out one of my competitors and the rest of us kinda died . so my program isn't for sale anymore in CompUSA.
