I'll repeat the questions I asked last night and that no one has answered. How big is the market for U.S. dental gums, not just the channel fill but actual sell-through to consumers? Do any of you use these gums? Have you compared them for taste and texture? This appears to be GUMM's major business at the moment, so these are not immaterial questions.

OK, I will take a stab....When you first asked the question you quickly pointed out how you preferred the taste of A&H's gum. Perhaps, this is why noone bothered to answer. You already seem to have a bias and the facts should not get in the way.

GUMM feels that the market is very large, indeed! A&H's sales are roughly $150M. Breath Asure is making inroads on that.

As for quality comparison, yes I have. Suffice it to say we have differing opinions on that issue. I rate the quality of DentaHealth #1, Breath Asure#2 and A&H's Ford gum a very distant third...This, of course, is a no-brainer because A&H could have used Gumm's Microdent product if they were willing to pay for it, which they weren't. We can argue the merits of flavor and texture until the cows come home, and not settle a thing. It is the efficacy of the Microdent(TM) vs baking soda that really separates the two products, however.

I think what you fail to see is the potential. Do you know how many pills are taken each day? My 80 year old father, an investor in GUMM, looks forward to the day when he can take less quantity of medication and that which he takes, would be absorbed by the blood vessels in the mouth, getting quickly to the blood supply, rather than upsetting his stomach!

Finally, I did not say you called management a liar....everything but!

Mike
