Morning Voltaire. Birds wake you up?. New saying " Dont ask what Dell can do for you, ask what you can do for Dell". Completely original, what?? Did you happen to see on TV last night an interview with an on-line trader at her station ???. Made in a month what she might earn in a year??? Peanuts, absolute peanuts Sheeeeeeeeeeesh. A dellhead with judicious use of options can make that look like a waste of time. Know what I mean?( My bricklayer often says that to me, thought I would toss it in here.) If you dont, send me a PM and I will tell you how many hours it takes to make my( rather ancient) previous years salary. AOL, YHOO, and Dell have been rather outstanding stocks for last two years now. Although I rate Dell #1, still Aol has grown without significant earnings and is still on the acquisition course. SO I think it has a good chance to keep going since the shareholders( many institutions, I believe) will not grow impatient with lack of earnings for many more quarters. I personally believe that Yahoos user friendly interface will permit it to do well. Jubac's picks of Intc, Sunw, and Txn may do well but cannot keep up with the top ones for long term gains. Intc and Txn are mature companies with built in bureaucracy and need to maintain facilities and highly technical well paid employees during tough times, preventing them from achieving best use of capital as exemplified by Dell.
