David, A strong argument you make, and, in my opinion a conservative one. Anyone who downplays the impact of a big increase in CASH on the balance sheet (particularly for an emerging BB stock) is denying the commonly accepted wisdom. If you are afraid that the company will "squander" the cash because they don't have a good business plan, that's another story. If that's the concern, then it's a company you should not be interested in anyway. At any rate, your analysis is air tight in my opinion. At least on day 1 when the cash flows in, it has to impact the share price.
