Loki: Thanks for the tips. I never buy tobacco stocks - always have this image of huge Marlborough Man hoardings in Hong Kong and Africa and think how they are exploiting the health of people whose governments rely on tobacco taxes for revenues.

What is HRC and why?

I tend to stay away from the board when I don't hold the stock because I feel like a sheep in wolves clothing (like Jimbo). But I have always been clear that I trade it. When I added to my position at $45 5/8ths before its recent run-up I reiterated a "Trading Buy". I have also expressed the opinion more recently that it is best to trade it between $42 and $49 than to sit and wait for it to move to $50+. If factors appear to change sentiment and rating, it would be good then to trade it in the $50-58 range.

I do make mistakes and miss out on opportunites but I prefer to get out rather than sit and suffer.

My expectations are that sooner or later it will hit $42. Given the overvaluation of so many tech stocks, I think that CPQ will suffer from a correction of the tech sector. Yesterday, I had actually developed the theory that CPQ could go to $37 or $38 in a sector or market correction (which makes my decision to buy at the close even less defensible).

I still believe that it will hit $50+ at or before mid-April and might even get to $60. I am certain it will hit $75 this year. I'm sure there will be announcements to do with (a) AV and (b) market share gains in the meantime which will give it 2-3 point pops and Ill be buying somewhere.
