We've been through this before. W-CDMA was covered in Finnish press in mid-Nineties. You're welcome to visit the archives of "Helsingin Sanomat" and see the proof. Ericsson has CDMA patents dating to early Nineties - the fact that most of Ericsson's patents are on TDMA does little to change that.

The daily fluctuations of stock prices are hard to evaluate. I wouldn't use the term "outperformance" until something that lasts longer than two weeks surfaces - stocks should be a long term investment. As a matter of fact, Nokia's new CDMA phones probably will ship in volume before Qualcomm's new models. The companies have different policies on announcing their products. There is no "closing the gap" until we actually see what is on market next summer.
