Bob, I'm not an accuntant....just a big ole fat boy with just enough knowledge to be dangerous to myself!....therefore the answer to your question is net income....that's what I get to spend out of my paycheck, so that's how I view investments....if I can't make a 20% net return on a commercial investment, I usually don't want to go through all the hassle for just a few percentage points....it's got to be worth my time and energy.

By the way, I still believe that TASA is worth my having invested in it....I don't have any idea when the market will catch up with it....but this is in my retirement portfolio and my creditors insist I won't be ready to retire for at least 15 years....so, I suspect there's time.
