Bill Frezza stated in the CDMA forum that Sprint is charging a nickel a minute in Pittsburgh. Can anyone elaborate on the rate scale they are charging? If they can make money at a nickel a minute, the wireless boom in Israel will seem like small potatoes compared to what will happen here.

Here is the quote:

Ira - good idea, I should really try to compare Trenton to Pittsburgh. I might be traveling there later this
month and will ask BANM to activate my QCOM phone on that system (if I can get them to return my calls
- they've gone quiet on me lately). Pittsburgh should be a fascinating market to follow, especially since
Sprint Spectrum decided to test market their new pricing plan there. 5 cents per minute. Wow. Let the
bloodbath begin.
