Given the consolidation in the e-commerce business and the already very lofty valuations of software vendors like Beyond.com and Egghead.com, why wouldn't they be interested in acquiring PROG at even a P/S = 1 ($45+ per share) in a stock deal? That would immediately increase their customer list and include a number of companies. PROG is in such a good position that I'm surprised we aren't hearing more about partnerships or possible deals with the big e-commerce companies.
