When I lived in Baton Rouge, I knew a man who worked as a petroleum geologist, but believed in creation science, too. He knew that the geological record existed, he had to because that was how he made his living. But, he believed that the Devil created it, to tempt mankind into disbelieving that the Bible was the literal word of God. I thought this was breathtakingly inventive.
