I love the confidence.

I've always maintained that, as a nation we're in pretty bad shape when people point at MSFT as being the "best and the brightest."

If this is the best stock issue america has to offer, i'd say we're living a fairyland indeed.

Someday - and I don't know when - value will matter again. Until then those of us who care about fundamentals will have to grin and bear the speculative din.

Yes MSFT's earnings continue to rise, but their products are becoming a joke and their accounting practices are suspect.

Add to that the fact that MSFT will never get any revenue out of certain parts of the world (asia comes to mind) and you have the makings of a cratering at some point in the future.

Free the media and watch the disintegration occur overnight.
