Jim, enjoying your posts as usual. Regarding the market manipulation, wasn't it always this way, but this time with the internet as a resource we're able to pay more attention to "that man behind the curtain"?<g>

BTW, have you seen the movie the Truman Show? Lot of parallels in there. It could just as well be today's bears wearing the "How Will It End" buttons;-)

Are you saying there was a point in the market where it was a free and open market? That would definitely be before my time. I'm looking at oversimplifying how it works by just deciding there has been and will always be 3-4 months of news filtered positively, followed by 3-4 months of news filtered negatively so people will want to take some off the table and pay uncle. If there doesn't happen to be anything positive or negative going on, an appropriate event will be created. Uncle must be paid approx twice a year IMO.
