BASIC ECONOMICS. y2k is causing a slow down in demand and so the pc boys need to reduce costs, above and beyond historical norms, to entice buyers to step up to the plate. hence, the first ever down pc year in revenues. economics 101 is excellent material and i'd highly suggest you take it. fascinating stuff.
