He will probably be able to soon show Wall Street Analyst a IBM PowerPC running a "Japanese" handheld:

" HOLDING JAPAN IN ITS PALM. Palm Computing has a plan. The company this week unveiled its plan to win its way into the tight Japanese market for handheld devices with a Japanese-enabled version of its Palm OS.

The California company also said it is shipping a Japanese version of its desktop software, which includes Japanese/English dictionaries, and has added Japanese support to its HotSync technology for transferring data between the Palm device and a PC.

At the same time, Palm said an unannounced partner will ship a Japanese-language version of the Palm Pilot within months.

The IDG News Service predicts the partner will be IBM Corp., which sells Palm handhelds in the United States under the IBM brand. "
