"All the current tech stock leaders have had 40 -50% corrections. Why not ride it up twice instead of just holding on for the ride?" Dear J, Alas my crystal ball is too cloudy for my simple mind to catch the waves on a speculative investment like MFNX. I also rather like the idea of capital gains tax (hopefully deferred so that my heirs and successors have to deal with the issue) vs. short term income extraction by the dentists at the IRS. I won't bore you with the calcs. "ALL stocks have trading patterns and to ignore them completely just doesn't make sense to me." I'm looking for the exceptional few such as GE or MO, which we could have bought for less than the price of a decent vacation in 1960 and today be able to convert into a carefree life into perpetuity.
