With the fact that PAIR has 328M in assets (mostly liquid) for a 700M company, I don't think there are a shortage of interested suitors. DSL is making inroads. If you live in a metro area cable is fine, but lots of people live where there's no cable access. Also, in my "suburban" area, my access time on cable has become substantially slower as more people join the segment. Sharing is not caring. Hold on for the ride.
