subject: indicators / screens

Richard, Gonzo, Mr Hunt, et al,

I was just wondering, of the 100's of indicators (and indicator combos), WHAT INDICATORS ARE YOU USING RIGHT NOW??

I was reading a TA magazine recently and John Murphy said he prefers
the basics.. like, using 'on balance volume' with a price graph.

An earlier issue resulted in my favorite screen. It combines using <a
negative and positive directional movement indicator> on the same screen. It is similar to a 'price oscillator' which I also like.

Of course, a MACD/histogram and a combo of 2 moving averages (say 8 day and 21 day) would be a basic requirement.

I do know one thing, if you don't recognize chart patterns, for support and resistance, you are at a real disadvantage.

If it sounds like I am pretty new at this ......... I am, but learning.

What's on your screen?

TIA............... JCGrimes, Tampa
