Market Gems Calendar..Lots of new stuff worked on today they will be brought up as they become actual. I am still working on the menu. But it should be there this evening. As I said eventually the charts will 'pop up' alongside the calendar. I will add a disclaimer as to the earnings dates.

As you know I have discontinued one of my two services for tracking the dates. I have customized the calendar all on my own and will be meeting with our programmer for 'fine tuning' this Tuesday. I now have stayed with :

a) First Call Radar Report, which I feel is in holding with the high level of our service (not perfect but a compromise that I feel will work fine).. Please do not ask me about any dates not on our watch lists. The first call report is a licence agreement for just the earnings plays. I do have the right however MYSELF to add some plays during the week and add more stocks to the calendar as I see fit. If you need more dates than our plays then you should get in touch with First Call.

There will always be mis-matches between the dates and the report. But first Call's report alone would run you nearly twice what you pay for a Market Gems subscription so for now that is what we will do. Phone calls to the company will continue to be made but we can't be held responsible if the 'answering machine' doesn't call us back.

b)"pop up" charts will also be a feature of the calendar and soon the newsletter as well. Charts with "earnings" indicators will be a feature so you can at a glance see where the stock has been after its last 2 earnings report. In some cases they will be yearly charts with last 4 earnings reports.

By March, trading will resume with equal weight given to momentum plays as earnings plays.

c)All plays will link to charts All earnings plays will link to charts with indicators directly to a charting company. Customized charts indicating early breakouts and actual breakouts, Support and resistance will be added for a good deal of the picks. Fundamentals might be on 'pop ups' as well but either way they will still be added.

d)Calendar views You will be able to toggle to a weekly calendar view as well as a monthly view.

e) Market Gems Search Engine for our newsletters: Eventually we will have a 'search' script where you can put in a symbol from the newsletter or back calendar and the calendar and/or newsletter where the stock appeared will have the url listed.

f) Separation of Newsletter and Daily Watch lists We will be separating the newsletter and watchlist starting the first of April but no one will be affected for 52 weeks from your sign on date until April 1, 1999, which means you will be able to get them both as before. The price for both will still be 300% cheaper than comparable services.

In all fairness however, I don't want to have to 'explain' how to follow both the newsletter and watch list stocks after April 1. You will be essentially getting it 'gratis' so you can either use either one or both or just ignore one if you are busy with a full time job.

g) There will be auto responder answering a good deal of the e-mail.. No matter how noble my intentions might be, there is no time in the day to answer all the e-mail. I have helped about 3-4 new subscribers this week after 1:00 in the morning when they lost their passwords or had trouble logging on. So that 'emergency' service will never be curtailed.

h) Codes Until further notice the codes for our morning plays will continue unabated. If a problem develops and I don't anticipate one, we will implement an alternative plan but we won't 'do away with them at all'.. I got mail from subscribers worrying that some 'few' who lay in wait for something to 'stir up' might try to hamper. I would not worry about that at all.
