Thanks Derek for your comment. To me, what stands out in that article is that USRX is ready to adopt the TI chip when it is available ("The World Wide Web will no longer be the World Wide Wait," said Dale Walsh, vice president of advanced development for U.S. Robotics, a modem-maker expected to adopt C6X.) Another word: Whichever way the current flows, USRX is out there in front participating in and taking advantage of the technological lead.
