I suppose one could argue that the focus on patent strength and competing technologies at the annual meeting was a tactic to divert attention from "when in the hell are you going to have orders in hand and be shipping batteries out the door (other than for sampling)" which is the issue that those from the SI thread here had in mind before they went. We already knew that they had an impressive portfolio of patents and what technology they were using and its supposed advantages. But what we didn't know is what we still don't know. Granted, the film was surely impressive from all accounts, but who doubted that they are a "for real" company. The questions remain of how soon they get to market and more importantly how successful they will be over the long haul.

I'm saying this NOT to bash the company, just to reiterate that the proof will be in the pudding as they say, regardless of peeks or guesses about what is going on in the oven.
