>>easy cd creator ... beyond the burn
Yes, clear. We were indeed talking about different things (had to be, practically, we disagree often enough, but not THAT bad <g>).
I don't much make covers; my style is a detailed cd label which shows through the front of the jewel case, and an end sticker which I can read from the shelf. I have a great set of labels for this, stick like sin on Clinton and are just as indelible when printed on a laser printer, which I print two-up because that's the way the sheets come. Absolutely opaque and give a very professional finish to the CD itself. Also I can then pop the CD into a sleeve instead of a jewel case with no loss of info. Depend on nobody!
However, I've just started buring audio cds since my wife got a car cd player <g>, so the jewel gets more important.
Yeah, I didn't find the jewel case stuff quite so shlocky, but I still would print on card stock and don't see good format options , etc.
Anyhow, the interfaces are juvenile. Try to use the dialogs to adjust postioning and see if you're not ranting about software testing and validation in your usual mode. You do it very well, you know, and you are at least 90% right by my lights. Give it a shot <g>. It sucks. As a Spanish teacher of mine once said, "El effe, Sr. Espots." <GGG>
