Harold -- by the way, just took a look at your "favorite stocks" list on your profile: Informix, AMD, MOT ...... I really hope "favorite stocks" doesn't necessarily mean the ones you are long on .... If so, I'd feel better about my investing skills on "one foot" then you with both. Maybe a refresh on your "business/investor education" would do you some good. Much has changed in the last 30 years since you got your degree. Statistics are an important starting point, but over-reliance will kill you. Sorry to make it personal, but you started it.
