Great post, Kemble. It gives me yet another reason to be confident that dell is the right investment for me (anybody). I've been mentoring a friend who is just beginning to manage her own account. She's been accumulating dell since November and now owns 600 shares. In response to my note explaining that the recent price action is the result of a sector move, she responded as follows: Hi Frank. So dell is down again and earnings are eroding. We are still up for our investment and I know the company is sound. It will just make the rebound all the sweeter. It seems most of the market is struggling right now so we have company. I am sure there will be some excellent buys if this keeps up. I am not in it for the quick hit and really am thinking long term. We still have some room to breathe. Michael Dell must not be too happy about the recent down turn. Hope he gets this straightened out. I think MD is going to do just that. Frank
