AFTER THE BELL - Iomega (NASDAQ:IOMG) falls sharply
NEW YORK, May 7 (Reuter) - Shares of Iomega Corp fell sharply in after hours trade after the company's shares hit a 52-week high during the day, traders said. Stock of Iomega, a maker of computer storage drives, fell 5-5/8 to 63-1/4 from its close of 68-7/8. Iomega hit a 52-week high of 69-7/8 during the day. Iomega officials could not be immediately reached to comment on the stock's activity. IMP Inc (NASDAQ:IMPX) , a maker of integrated circuits, fell one to 17-1/8 in after hours trade from its close of 18-1/8. IMP makes components for Iomega's storage drives. IMP's shares also hit a 52-week high during the day, rising to 22-3/4. Elsewhere, the New York Stock Exchange reported first session after hours turnover of 171,100 compared with 15,600 yesterday. Second session volume rose to 3,878,706 compared with 149,202 yesterday. The American Stock Exchange reported no after hours activity today or yesterday.
