Hey, you make me think of something discussed on CNBC this morning which was how the software that the online trading companies are using are failing lately. Two days ago, yesterday and today I think e-trade has gone down....NOW....think about it.....what the heck do you do when the market starts to tank and you want out and you can't get onto the site to trade????? YIKES!!!!! I know the feeling I have sometimes waiting for a confirm through a discount trader after putting in the order through the phone and the traders are busy...I wait 8 minutes sometimes before I can get confirmation of my position....not fun at all. If we get panic....and I mean panic selling and the online traders have problems getting to the market, you are going to see some people lose absolute fortunes.........scary...but I think we are seeing the tip of the problem this week. sg
