From my own humble experience, an K6-2/333 has even trouble running at 333MHz. That means AMD has been cherry-picking the hell out of these K6-2s. That is a very tell-tale sign of problem (which I should have realized and got screwed). Building several million PCs a year, even a 1% reject can cost Gateway millions. Look for Gateway to deny using K6-2 in the near future.

Also K6-2 is dirt cheap, but Voodoo video cards are not! Whoever wants a voodoo would not want a cheap CPU.

AMD is self-destructing again, and at shareholders' expense.
