Doug you sound like your short. one thing your not giving value to is their web address www.bid.com is the best web address for a auction site. Take a look at IBUY being aquired by Compaq for 22omil. IBUY had 4 mil in sales for the 1st 9 mo's of 98 with losses of 19mil and neg book value. Compaq wants the URL. If you accept the future projections of e-comerce revenue (yr 2003 4 trillion, compared to 12-15 bil this year), someone who wanted the auction side could just buy bii and turn it into what they want.
