Andy, thanks for the vindication. Considering that I'm running on a 166, the scan times probably correlate pretty well. Running a pre-scan does make sense in many instances, but I don't think I could narrow the database down to the point where it would make a significant difference in scan times. Also, I haven't edited a QP2 scan in three months, and I'm afraid if I tried to now, I might accidentally misplace a "then" or a ";" and never get them to run properly again. <g> I'm just going to wait for the QP incarnation of Easyscan.
