Your are right, March 12, stock split, April 16, earning report, First quarter of 1999, office 2000 release, Third or 4th quarter Win2000 released. The big environment, Asia continues its recovery, US keeps strong, and Europe maintains its economy in a good shape ( British just cut rate yesterday). So nothing wrong with Microsoft, nothing wrong with the economy, just someone wanted to get shares cheap from those nervous investors, that is it.
