Khris,
Thanks for posting the press release - I was running into a lot of computer "lag" on here early last night, and I wasn't able to get back here until this morning.
Someone just complained that $.07 was not enough, somehow. Frankly, I was projecting $.06 in The Napeague Letter on about the same level of revenue. Although I have not seem the 10-Q yet and so don't want to try to analyze these results without seeing them in their entirety, it appears that the growth in "service and support" revenues, which were up 40%, versus a long-term trend of 25% growth, really drove this quarter's results.
I've projected that TRNT will generate $.25 per share in fiscal 1997, versus $.19 in 1996, for a 32% growth rate, which is not at all weak for a Company with a PE of 14.
If anyone would like a copy of my complete analysis of TransNet, which I should have updated within a day or so of the release of the 10-Q, just e-mail me and I'll send it out to you.
