OS/2 BM came with OS/2 and PM versions 3.X. others are avaialable. LILO frm linux is free. BM is free with PM 4.0. System Commander is almost $80 (a bit over priced considering the alternatives). How you fix a corrupt BM. Simply re-install the BM from floppy. I have had to do this a few times and its not hard. The only thing lost are the menu labels for the partitions in BM. Everything is still there just not the nice mnemonic labels that you can assign in the BM. The level of detail here and exploration of this subject persists. I find it beguiling that no one has tried these solutions. very effective. Sean
