SEEQ is and has always been very boring.
This is true. When Broadcom announced it's new Octel product in January it's stock shot up 41%. SEEQ beat them to the punch in November and the news was greeted by yawns.
Michael Murphy also contributes to SEEQ's woes. He has been touting this stock for two years. Most tech investors consider his advice to be contrarian. While everyone has been doubling and tripling their investments Murphy lost money in his model portfolio. In his last news letter he printed something called the Murphy index which had increased dramatically. Ironically none of the stocks in his portfolio, except for INTC, were in the index.
