Mad2, with all due respect, "one to watch" when you made made in the neighborhood of 30% on shorting something that has a tremendous short %, a potentially great and just being introduced product,& a small tightly held float?

I think that not only is your additional take on this short limited, it is potentially lost and more if and when national publicity hits zicam. In addition, I think it is a big gamble for you to hold a position trade short through earnings just as much as a long position trade can be a gamble through earnings (refer to Jenna's posts and philosophies). The stats above make that holding short through earnings even more risky. None of this mentions the nicotine gum possibilities that have been discussed on this and the Yahoo (love that RatsASS4U poster!) threads.

Shorts were lucky that TM P & D'd this stock, IMO. This has been documented on several threads and doesn't take a lot of analysis to believe.

Your short seems to me to be based on old data and has been lucky because of a known P&D occurrence that will be but a blip on this stock's rise, IMO.

Regards,

Howard
