I'd be very surprised if Boeing became a takeover target and I doubt they would consider a takeover as friendly. This is a powerhouse company with vast resources. It is also the only US commercial airliner builder. Do you have info on a takeover? This Air Force contract cancellation is a big deal according to the LA Times story as there are 22 other related contracts jeopardized by the cancellation. Boeing is in tough shape right now so I would guess the stock will be basing for awhile. JMHO.
