My first NT Blue Screen (on the new machine 'MAX')

I am trying to get consistent results with this daw gawn CDRW drive. I figured NT may make a difference. I tried Adaptec CD copy. It spit out the disc half way through (still using the questionable media)

I tried NTI-CD Maker Pro. I installed the program. When I executed it POP...blue screen. Some message about where to go in NT to fix it. Well I did not have a pencil nearby and am not wild about taking notes from the screen...pencil and paper rank with floppies IMO.

Well, I do not want that program on the machine..I want all vestiges removed. I also like to test my recovery strategies and this was an OPPORTUNITY.

I used bios select to boot the KOT..executed Drive Image and restored the NT/Win95 combo. Total time to restore 281 MB was less than ten minutes including all of the boots.

I had to reinstall the ATI drivers and Adaptec Easy CD Creator..an additional 10 minutes.

Now it is back to playing Pinball
