Mike..Partnering with Microsoft is like the lamb sleeping with the lion. At the very least the lamb will not get a good nights sleep, and at the worst it won't see the morning.
Microsoft will act in what it perceives to be it's self interest and as you point out it has the means to do so. That doesn't mean that it always does the smart thing or wins every battle. I guess a key question is how much MSFT has been intimidated by the Justice Dept., and even more important will they sell more NT by having a Citrix based network than by having their own. That's assuming they can develop a competitive system, which they haven't done so far. IMHO, they should support anybody that helps with their core product of the future. They aren't going to win the appliance battle but they have a chance at winning the server battle. Remember Merced is coming and it will run fine on non Microsoft software. BTW, I also own MSFT.
