Sorry Harold and thread -- I just have to comment: I've gotten quite a laugh out of your description of AMD ..... "in the area of semiconductor fab and an interest in nonvolatile memory." Bad grammar aside, where did you copy this from? Kind of like saying Microsoft "is in the area of operating systems and has an interest in word processing." I'm not "lecturing" you about technology just to argue technology. I'm making the point that you shouldn't rely on "statistical modeling" alone to make investment decisions. You should also try to understand the market dynamics. I'm not even saying you need to get the technology. And even if you choose to ignore everything but EPS, you shouldn't call people stupid for looking beyond that. And by the way, I'm not even an engineer. Background not required to understand the networking industry to the level where you can make smart decision. At the same time though, I think you certainly have forgotten a lot about "electronics." Random thought: what did "electronics" mean in the 40s and 50s?
