Hiya Kurt, Have a great week in San Francisco! One word of advice (caution??) TAKE RAINGEAR!!! <gg> That place is we-et! Highlight of my trip of course was visiting my "family", but you can't go wrong if you do the Irish Coffee at Buena Vista Cafe'. Even if you do NOT like coffee...you will love this. (Trust me!) Oh, be sure to get one of those fleece SF pullovers for $18 at the wharf. That was the one "shouldabought" that I didn't and have regretted! At the shopping center at the end of the Cable Car line, go to that fancy candy store and buy some of the toffee dipped almonds covered with chocolate. <g> One more thing...Coit Tower was beautiful at dusk. The sky decided to clear just for us before we left, and we were able to view the city in all it's lighted splendor. Next time, I hope to be able to go to the top and see SF in the daylight. As you can see...aside from "soaking up" the ambiance, it was the little things we enjoyed most. Anyway...so much for E as a tourguide, huh? <g> You are young, just go for it. From what I hear, we didn't even dent the surface where exploring the city was concerned. Have a fantastic time, and don't forget to take a laptop (or some means of communications with the "real world"!) Take Care, E! Note: Schweetie just walked in and had to add his .02...he said his favorite part was "the plane flight out". HUMPH...and you thought I was a lousy tourguide! <ggg>
