Is anyone playing SFE as a conduit for VetricalNet (since very few folks will get in on the IPO)? VerticalNet will be a very hot IPO this week. Got a great write-up in Barrons today. SFE (though one of their totally owned investment groups) owns 49% of VerticalNet. Plus, SFE is an excellent company on its own. They have investments in many public and private tech and internet companies. DEFINITELY WORTH LOOKING AT.
