Sorry about that, Stephen... what I meant was that carrier A was asking us to do mass production optical character recognition scans of their prospects' existing telephone bills from Carriers B and C.

The reason behind this was for Carrier A to be able to determine where they (Carrier A) could offer competitive pricing to those of Carriers B and C, on a selective basis, determined by what type of service was offered, and how much the competing carriers B and C were charging for that particular service. Since those days, most carriers are now making their billing data available on magnetic/electronic media, and there is no further need for the OCR technique.
