Crazy as it may seem...with the Y2K scare..there are a lot of people buying "survival" equipment..food ..tents..blankets..flashlights...etc etc..in anticipation of 12/31/99 being a blackout... Guess who sells much of this stuff? You got it..SGDE Talk of buyout appears rampant on some boards....it does make sense though...they have a nice following and great catalog..
