You said Technical and momentum analysis only look in the past...fundamental only looks to the future.

Pruguy.......How soon in the future can fundamental Analysis predict future price movements?

For instance: Can fundamental Analysis tell me when a bottom or a top for a particular stock has occurred? Can it tell the lay person on Monday that by Tuesday or Wednesday the stock might be in trouble, or that it is a good time to add money to a position?

I'm not arguing, I am asking your opinion as to how "soon" in advance fundamental Analysis can predict stock prices or trends.
