I have a Prudential account, working with 2 brokers that I have known for 15 years. They usually passed on the recs of Mark Edelstone (their chip analyst) and said nothing. ME had a history of trying to be the 'first' of everything--something he moved the market; other times he made a fool of himself. But in a nervous market, these guys do have a short-term effect.
