Notches Was that the day upon which your first thought was "this is the day" a day which you knew was not merely a day but marked time in a meaningful way Upon the first sight of you did he push back your hair look longingly into your eyes slowly and lightly brush the tips of his fingers along your cheeks and say, "I'm glad you're a part of my life" Did you arise with a feeling of happiness unaware that your stride was like dancing to a sweet gentle sound humming in your thoughts Were you met with "well-wishes" and hugs by touch or via the "talking box" and did you receive many ribbons and bows And at the end of the day with your eyes closing to sleep did you know (for many said as much) you are so loved because of that day. Nakia - on this day - in lieu of the 23rd. (Honorable mention to T.A.S. whose thread I was thinking of today and probably influenced the piece.)
