Doroteo,
I thought the idea that workers were shot to break up a strike was not unbelievable because I know it has happened before. In the days of the beginnings of the unions in the good ol' US of A there were also shootings by police and hired thugs of workers. Not a long stretch to get around that idea. As for the voracity of the interviewee I don't know. I have just related what he said, I didn't give him a polygraph. Therefore in answer to FT's worries that I will be sued by CC and reduced to poverty I think I'm in the clear. LOL. Thanks for your extensive research. I see you went to a lot of trouble. I did not know about Fidel Velázquez. A mexican version of Jimmy Hoffa? Except maybe that Hoffa did things for the workers instead of selling them out? Depends on who you want to believe about that story, I guess. Corruption is man made. But there's no union for that trade. LOL

Bob
