This is typical. Of course the checks bounced - I gave up writing checks out of my Etrade account for similar reasons.

Why did they purchase those 1000 shares? Were you short? Did they try and contact you first or just do it?

The more I hear about Etrade the more upset I am getting. I can't believe they are getting away with this. Hopefully Florida will launch an investigation soon! (One of the perks of living in the state capital is you get to know important people.)
