Howdy Pals, Sunny Yeah the pennies have been popping and I guess that's one of the signs that our faves will be getting their seasonal whacking for having gotten too big for their britches again, or so they say. Thanks, I think I'll try some of that SSC, price is right and had wanted another mining stock (lucky name for you, Sunshine Mining, and it's at less than a half of its high right now) and though the other 2 are a bit high for me in that share price budget range right now - Preview Travel PTVL I've been hearing about I'm sure it's bound to be hot - and how can OshKoshB'Gosh lose the quarter after the holidays with all the cute kids clothes I noticed they put out this year - I'm sure that you'll do well with them. Good picks Sunny! It's so nice to have the pennies for some positive activity at this time, isn't it? Monday I think I'll get brave enough to sell off some giftnets like Blue says to round up some cash; dipping a toe in the water so next time it goes way up to the top I won't be so chicken to let some of 'em go to get 'em back cheaper later. The problem is the worth of them is so much bigger than the pennies I just freeze; I guess I go on autopilot sorta like telling myself not to touch my core holdings when I look at the large sums (for me) in them at this point. The only question is, what do you think will happen on Triple Witch Day THIS month? It's right before the AOL and GNET split. I predict they'll both go back up real fast after the splits; like AOL always has, like LU does.

My New Good Net Indicator - My Munder Internet Fund (MNNAX)- ended Friday on the Downtick for the first time since I bought it in December. It's got my own Techfolio beat by 3 points (31% to 28%) and I got a teeny weeny hunch I'll beat it this week because of my pennies. (Here are my net pennies: ACTC, CNKT, CMOZ, DNET, IBNL, MBTI, MCNS, MCTL, MSGI, MXNT, PAYV, PQT, RDIM, SIGM, SIRC, SLEU, TODY, ZSUN. All these are either ecommerce sites and/or software, or portals. I got 'em all real cheap if I do say so myself. And about half of 'em are tips from my pals here, thanks. The others I found from serendipitous surfing. All of 'em I consider to be green apples, although I have sold part of some off to get basis out of doublers or more already. MSGI gained 25% Friday unexplainably; TLTG gained 90+% and they say the float is gone and good news is expected on that one on Monday. Giant upward volumes at the close. RDIM, SIGM, SIRC also ended on an uptick. Pals, TLTG's the Hot One Right Now. Or so it would seem.... But now why would that Munder Fund be ending on a downtick I wonder? I shall try to be as brave with these Big Nets as I've been able to be with the pennies...Blue do you think The Beast will be showing his ugly face so early in the year, or that it'll be just a lil correction? Either way, time to get ready huh. I sure do hope you get your typing energy soon, Blue. I sure do hope.
And speaking of indicators, what could THIS mean...today the spotted kitten found a spot underneath a chair where she could get up through the back and pull out some stuffing from it. She got very busy on task, patting the stuffing on to the flat whisk broom by the dustpan with her paw after carrying it there in her mouth; arranging it so neat and orderly, all proud of herself and sitting up straight next to it as we praised her & gave her a cheese treat. Yeah, I know it means (awwww, look at what she's DONE!!) real adorable kittycat behavior of the first magnitude... but methinks it could possibly bode something for the market as well, if only I knew what.
I'm about 95% better from that flu, but coffee still smells funny to me, like skunks (isn't that weird?) so I've just been drinking tea still. I still don't want any stuff like pizza or fast food or french fries or ice cream either; although the other day I did go get me a great chile relleno plate with green sauce and it made me feel so much better and back to normal after so much bland light food for weeks. And any kind of drink or cocktail reminds me of those yucky chest-clearing sweat-inducing hot toddies so I just drink cold pepsis. And I couldn't find the Henry Weinhards Orange Cremes, Blue (although I had seen them but forget where, maybe it was in California in the summer, are they only in the West?)but I did get me some bottles of A & W Orange Vanilla Creme Soda that are mighty tasty. And the A & W Key Lime Soda is real good too, got that real old fashioned Lime Rickey flavor that's hard to find anymore except on places like a Boardwalk. But the ice cream floats will just have to wait til I'm 100% back from the flu. It was a real bad time to get sick. I think if I'd been well I would have moved faster to sell some stocks at a high. But maybe not; as I say, am still a little chicken.
