Flop! News

(or lack thereof)

steves-digicams.com

News is leaking out about the upcoming digital camera product rollout due in the next few weeks. All different brands of 2 Million Megapixel cameras are being introduced, from Kodak to Agfa, from Olympus to Minolta-- And ALL of them EXCLUDE Flop!

There is not ONE camera that is offering a Flop! drive built-in. Instead, the biggest news it seems is that larger capacity FlashCards are being debuted. And there is a new Kodak model with not one, but two type II CompactFlash slots and a type III slot to boot!

If Iomega's Flop! drive is supposed to replace CompactFlash, then someone had better tell the digital camera makers. They obviously don't know anything about it.
