You folks seem to think you have a corner on the market when it comes to the meaning of character. I think that Clinton standing up to the political challenge of the Paula Jones legal system as a political weapon crowd demonstrated a lot of character. Since when did just being a quitter count so much for character? In history; quitters are forgotten. It is the fighters that prevail that are remembered. That is why Truman is remember to a degree. Had Clinton resigned; that would have been the end of him forever. By fighting and winning; he has a great future ahead. Just watch; Clinton will go on after the Presidency to many additional great things. The end of his term in 2000 will just be one chapter in a lifetime of political activity. This guy is still very young.
