Welcome to the world of REAL operating systems ...

and once again thanks for the URL's.

Let me go out on a limb. We've been looking for a way to invest in the coming Linux revolution. Compaq and Dell are now offering service and support for Red Hat ...

The Midwest Norwegian-American Bachelor Farmer Preservation Guild Retirement Fund is going to add a position of DELL to its core holdings. (Only the most stubborn of Norwegians could watch Dell rise this long without buying it.)

Can you imagine how many computers Dell will sell with a GOOD operating system? Their market share could increase too when companies realize their support costs go down with Linux. Management doesn't understand operating systems or technology but they understand MONEY.

And there's the slim chance that MSFT could get spanked. Another boost to Linux?

Just thinking "out loud".

Best of luck.

DELL / Linux ... a free jar of pickled herring with every box.

Better yet ... a free computer with every jar of pickled herring ... yeah, that's the ticket.
